Terror for tourists: crossing the road

VietNamNet Bridge – If you ask visitors “What scared you the most in Vietnam?”, most would immediately reply “the traffic mayhem.” The very simple task of crossing the road in Hanoi is actually a very frightening task for travelers.

Hanoi’s streets are very crowded with motorbikes, making tourists panic whenever they cross the road.

A man had to press the light for pedestrians several times, but the flow of traffic didn’t stop (Le Thai To Street).

A Japanese visitor was struggling to walk from Ngoc Son Temple to the Hanoi Post Office.

Tourists surrounded by buses.

A tour guide led a group of tourists across the road.

Two visitors held each other hands to cross the road together.

Visitors cross the road at pedestrian crosswalks, but they also have to dodge motorbikes on Dinh Tien Hoang road.

Very happy to have crossed the road successfully.
