The film promises to give audiences surprises by talented actors, elegant costumes and outstanding scenes.

The film stars Ly Hung as King Quang Trung, Miss Vietnamese Universe 2008 Thuy Lam as Princess Ngoc Han and other artists such as The Anh, Doan Dung, Ly Huynh and famous singer Tuan Hung. The film, especially, mobilized more than 2,000 extras, a record number in Vietnamese cinematography. Moreover, to represent the battles of King Quang Trung, the filmmaker mobilized more than 50 elephants, making viewers recall the past.
“Vietnamese history has a lot of glorious pages but it is regretful that few filmmakers make historical films, so I did that film to fill the blanks as well as for the young generation to learn more about our nation’s
history,” said Ly Huynh.
“We have spent three years researching the life and relevant historical features of King Quang Trung in order to ensure historical accuracy for the film. And we have spent about VND10 billion, an immodest amount in the local film market,” he added.
