A live online discussion on the subject of “Overseas Study in the UK – The Most Cost-effective in Quality Education” will be presented by DTiNews on October 14.
To mark the event of ISC-UKEAS October 16 and 17, UK Education fairs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, from 9:00AM to 12:00PM on October 14, Dan Tri and ISC-UKEAS, who represents around 200 institutes in the UK alone and many more in other countries, will co-host an online interactive forum on the subject of “Overseas Study in the UK – The Most Cost-effective in Quality Education”.
On March 25 of this year, Dan Tri and ISC-UKEAS successfully held an online interactive forum to answer general inquiries regarding education in the UK. The forum drew a huge amount of interest from Dan Tri readers with many still now sending us questions on the subject. In order to further address the enthusiastic inquiries, we decided to hold a second exchange this year. Parents and students are welcome to ask questions on the affordability and quality of study in the UK as well as any general questions on studying in the UK.

 | Mr. Carl Owen, ISC-UKEAS Country manager Carl’s background is in EFL spans over 15 years and includes 10 where he has been involved in academic English and IELTS instruction as well as being an IELTS examiner for 8 years. Carl arrived in Asia in 1991 and after falling in love with the region has spent most of the last 19 years living and working in Japan, Australia and Taiwan. He has become a fluent Chinese speaker from his time in Taiwan and is now making progress with his study of Vietnamese. He worked for UKEAS in Taiwan from 2005 to 2008 before taking up the position as Country Manager for ISC-UKEAS in Vietnam. |
 | Ms. Tina Yeung – Regional Recruitment Manager for University of Sheffield in South East Asia. Tina, a British citizen, has lived in Asia for more than 10 years based out of Malaysia. Her work work has brought her to various countries in the region - Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei and Vietnam – she has gained insight into the region and the culture and has come to understand the needs of students in Vietnam and the region. Tina has recently been appointed as chairwoman of the Rotary Club in Kelana Jaya, Malaysia. |
 | Lê Hoài Châu, UK Master’s Degree Graduate Lê Hoài Châu graduated in 2008 at the very top of her class from her university in Vietnam and then went on to obtain a master’s degree in Financial Economics at the University of Leicester, in the United Kingdom. |
