From now until 2012, Hard Rock Café will appear in “gateway cities” such as Hanoi and Danang and maybe in Haiphong. According to Thai, the expanding of the Hard Rock Café in Vietnam is inevitable because Vietnam is a developing economy with a young population.
Hard Rock Café HCMC will create a bridge for cultural exchange since it invites international singers to perform in Vietnam and brings Vietnamese singers to perform in other countries.
Hard Rock invited famous American musician Darryl McDaniels of the group Run DMC, which has released over 30 million discs over 25 years, to perform with Vietnamese singer Kasim Hoang Vu at the Rock ‘N’ Roll party to inaugurate the Hard Rock Café HCMC last Friday.
Hard Rock Café HCMC covers 542 square meters, including seating for 205 or standing for 400, a bar, a stage and a Rock Shop selling limited Hard Rock souvenirs and is operated by Viet Thai International Co.
